Upload Gerbers for a Quote →All assembly is performed in-house at our facility in Roanoke, Alabama.
Capabilities: Automated SMT assembly (2 pick-and-place machines), leaded and lead-free wave soldering, selective soldering, full through-hole assembly, automated conformal coating, AOI inspection, and dedicated BGA/QFP rework station.
Every board receives 100% electrical testing.
Volume: Prototype runs (5-25 units) through production volumes (10,000+ units).
View Services →REC offers full-service engineering from concept through production.
In-house team handles: Schematic design, PCB layout, firmware/embedded systems development (multi-processor architectures with OTA updates), and iOS/Android mobile app development for connected products.
You work directly with our engineers — no sales middlemen.
For projects at the concept stage, tell us about your requirements and we will scope the engineering effort.
Tell Us About Your Project →REC is registered to the ANSI/ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard.
We maintain Navy-certified soldering expertise for military and defense-adjacent applications.
All production undergoes 100% electrical testing. Our quality system covers incoming inspection, in-process verification, and final test.
100% US-based manufacturing.

Pricing depends on: Layer count, board dimensions, quantity, material type, surface finish, component count, assembly complexity, and timeline.
For PCB quotes, upload your Gerber files as a ZIP. For general engineering projects, describe your requirements through our project inquiry form.
We do not publish fixed pricing because every project has unique requirements.
Get a Quote →Typical lead times: Prototype PCB assembly (1-3 weeks depending on component availability), production runs (3-6 weeks for standard, expedited options available).
US-based manufacturing means no international shipping delays. Direct engineer access enables fast design iterations.
Timeline factors include: PCB fabrication lead time, component sourcing (some parts have long lead times), assembly complexity, and testing requirements.
Contact us with your specific timeline needs.
Discuss Your Timeline →REC has automated conformal coating capability for protecting electronics in harsh environments.
Coating types: Acrylic (AR) for general moisture protection and easy rework, Silicone (SR) for wide temperature ranges (-65°C to +200°C), Urethane (UR) for chemical/solvent resistance, Epoxy for maximum hardness.
Standards: MIL-I-46058C and IPC-CC-830B compliant processes available.
Selection depends on your operating conditions — we help you choose the right coating.
Read Our Coating Guide →REC reviews all design files for manufacturability before production.
Common DFM considerations: Adequate annular rings (min 5 mil for vias, 7 mil for component pads), proper spacing between copper and board edge (min 10 mil), solder mask dams between close-pitch pads (min 4 mil), fiducial marks for SMT, and panelization for efficient production.
We flag any issues and work with you to resolve them before fabrication.
Every PCB quote includes a DFM review at no extra charge.

Capabilities: Multi-processor embedded architectures, cloud-connected OTA firmware updates, WiFi/BLE/LoRa/cellular wireless integration, iOS and Android mobile app development, and cloud dashboard/monitoring solutions.
We have deployed connected products across grill controllers, industrial monitors, and fitness equipment.
We handle the full stack — hardware, firmware, mobile app, and cloud.
Read About Our OTA Platform →REC serves a wide range of industries: automotive electronics, industrial controls, military/defense (Navy-certified soldering), aerospace, temperature control systems, motor control, power management, fitness equipment, RF communication, and alternative energy.
Our turn-key model is especially valuable for industries requiring US-based manufacturing, quality certification, and direct engineer access.
For 500-1,000 unit runs, we are right in the sweet spot — large enough for quality systems, small enough for direct attention.
